Our Process
Stud Mapping & Layout Lines
We locate and mark every stud in the kitchen. A level reference line is snapped at cabinet height on the wall — this is the foundation that every other measurement comes from.
High-Point Floor Survey
The highest point of the floor is found and used as the baseline for all base cabinets. This ensures countertops sit level even on uneven floors.
Wall Cabinet Installation
Upper cabinets are hung first to allow unrestricted access. A temporary ledger board holds them level while they are fastened through the back rail into studs at minimum two points each.
Base Cabinet Installation
Base cabinets are set, shimmed to level in both directions, and fastened together face-frame to face-frame. Corner units and fillers are fitted precisely.
Door & Drawer Adjustment
All doors and drawer fronts are adjusted for consistent reveals, soft-close function is tested and tuned, and any racking or misalignment is corrected before moving forward.
Trim Details
Crown molding, light rail, toe kicks, and scribe moldings are cut and installed to complete the built-in look. The kitchen is left clean and ready for countertop templating.
