Our Process
Framing Inspection & Prep
Before the first sheet goes up, we verify that all framing is straight, plumb, and at the correct spacing. We coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades to ensure everything is in the walls before we close them up.
Sheet Layout & Hanging
Drywall is measured, cut, and hung to minimize joints and butt seams in the field of the wall. Panels are fastened with screws at correct intervals to avoid fastener pops.
Corner Bead & Blocking
Metal or vinyl corner bead is installed on all outside corners. Access panels, electrical boxes, and light fixture locations are cut out cleanly.
First Coat — Tape & Bed
Paper tape is embedded in joint compound over all seams. Screw dimples are covered with the first coat. This coat is left to fully dry before proceeding.
Second & Third Coats — Feathering
Progressively wider coats are applied and feathered out to blend seams invisibly into the surrounding drywall face. Each coat is sanded after drying.
Final Sand & Prime
The finished surface is fine-sanded, vacuumed, and inspected under raking light. A coat of drywall primer is applied, revealing any spots that need final touch-up before paint.
